Your negotiations committee met with Air Canada for this session of bargaining from November 1 to 8.

Your negotiations committee members met this week with Air Canada from
October 17 to 21.
During the first three days of the week, the two sub-committees (Airports and
Technical Operations) dealt with administrative items that pertained to each
of their specific work areas. The rest of the week was spent on global
administrative issues. We are seeing measured progress at this time.
We will be meeting with the Company again from November 1 to 8, 2011,
to continue dealing with all outstanding administrative issues.
Your Negotiations Committee met with Air Canada last week, from
October 3 to 7, to continue agenda item discussions.
We are making some measured progress on some administrative items.
Talks so far are cordial as the company appears to be willing to work
towards solutions to items.
We are scheduled to meet again during the week of October 17 to 21
during which time the two sub-committees will meeting separately with
the company to work on the items in their respective packages.
Aveos - Maintenance
Your bargaining committee met with the Company during the week of February 6th. During this third round of direct negotiations, we pursued our efforts to achieve a fair and acceptable collective agreement that would recognize the efforts of our membership and ensure the Company’s success. (More...)
The members of your negotiations committee met with the company in direct negotiations in Montreal from January 16 to 20, 2012.
The parties exchanged and discussed some non-monetary agenda items throughout the week.
Direct negotiations are scheduled to reconvene during the week of February 6, 2012.
The members of your negotiations committee met in Vancouver from November 21st to 24th to finalize the agenda.
Direct negotiations with the company are scheduled for the week of December 12th in Montreal.
The members of your Aveos negotiations committee met in Vancouver
during the week of October 3.
The week was spent reviewing the survey results and compiling agenda
items for the upcoming round of negotiations with the company.
We also began the process of editing the existing collective agreement
to make the articles pertinent to Aveos employees.
In addition, in order to shed light on the upcoming bargaining process,
we created a handbook that will be distributed to all Aveos employees.
We will reconvene later this month to continue preparing for
negotiations.
Your Aveos bargaining committee met at the William W. Winpisinger Education & Technology Centre the week of September 18 for negotiations preparation training. (More...)
